The Dustin Johnson Foundation offers opportunities for youth to learn, play and contend, ultimately giving them a competitive edge on and off the course.
In the lead-up to the February 2019 Genesis Open, Dustin Johnson got to meet his namesake – and it was for a reason far more meaningful than matching monikers.
For the second time in three years, Dustin Johnson has won the Vardon Trophy – awarded at the end of each PGA TOUR season to the player with the lowest scoring average.
In partnership with DJ Golf School in Murrells Inlet, SC, the Dustin Johnson Foundation provides discounted access to summer camps and lessons for youth to learn the game.
The DJ Foundation is focused on a three-step approach so that after youth learn the game, they can take their skills on the course and gain comfortability and confidence while playing.
Compete
The last phase in the tiered approach to learning is providing opportunities and scholarships for youth to play in local, national and international competitions, including the DJ World Junior held at TPC Myrtle Beach every year.
By way of partnership with the DJ Golf School, we’re removing barriers for youth to participate in the game by providing lessons and scholarships to learn, opportunities to play, and instilling the skills needed to contend at their highest level.
Through the DJ World Junior Championship, we’re providing an opportunity for top world-ranked juniors to compete in a PGA TOUR atmosphere.
